Ask the Secret Service how effective fences are? Maybe a locked front door would have helped, or would it?
Seeing a boundary, such as a fence or checking the front door by a passerby to reveal open or closed is a normal occurrence. When we gain unlawful entry into posted areas or cross fences that are clearly marked we have violated others privacy.

Over the years I have had hundreds of employees work for me in various positions. Either full time, part time or sub contractors. I have had long term, short term and others that just didn't work out for whatever reason.
Annually I would perform a review of their past years progress and reward accordingly and offer suggestions on needed improvements. Almost without fail during their first years review they would ask about "cost of living raise" or "longevity" raise.

Five things I have learned about marketing a product or brand are:
1) Give full disclosure.
2) Clearly define the benefits
3) Give multiple choices on benefits and price
4) Be consistent.
5) Be on time every time.
Clarity can be very misleading at times. Do you have a good understanding as to which path you are on and why?
Have you taken the time to thoughtfully explore all possibilities for you and your family? Among the choices that present themselves, how do you know your selection is the best? What metrics are used to decipher between good and great? Have you eliminated the obstacles in your life that would allow you to choose wisely rather than out of desperation?
