Do You Have Your Children's Back?

Posted by Aaron Walker on Feb 12, 2019 9:00:00 AM

I'd like to ask you this. Do you have that support to your children? Are you there for them unconditionally? Are you always there to walk them thru to finish their goals, to help them, to support them? Or are you putting unnecessary pressure just for your children to perform?

Credit Cards Are Great Tools When Used Properly

Posted by Aaron Walker on Feb 10, 2019 9:00:00 AM

Credit card's good as long as that cash flow is good. As long as the money's coming in. There's not a problem you've got a job you making those payments. The point of the story today is, it's not a sin. It's not like terrible but it's best not to have those credit cards in your life. You'll be able to sleep better at night and I promise you, the confusion in your life when you do lose your job or you don't have the money will be minimal compared to what it is with those high balances.

You Don't Deserve It

Celebrate your kid, regardless. Let him feel that he is loved unconditionally. Let him feel that he is an amazing kid. I promise you here's what will happen. You'll grow up young men and young women not thinking they have to earn your love, not thinking that when they do good they get rewarded, when they do bad to get punished. So their whole identity is tied up into performance and I want to tell you that's miserable. We got to learn that our identity is not tied up into our possessions or into our financial wherewithal or our titles.

Effort

There's more power in execution of the wisdom and the knowledge. Being relentless is the key ingredient to achieving the goal and to be successful. You don't have to have any more knowledge, any more wisdom, any more experience. What you need is execution. You need to work day-in day-out. Do it hard. Get up tomorrow and do it again and you'll reap some of those benefits.

Is Your Home A Safe Place?

Posted by Aaron Walker on Feb 2, 2019 9:00:00 AM

How are you as a father? How do you interact with your kids? Are you verbally abusive? How do you instill discipline in your home? I want you to really think through the way you discipline your kids. The environment that you're creating at home, like are they excited when you get home? Are they like looking forward to it or they like run and jump up in your arms or they like run into the room and hiding or they're coward and down and they don't want anything to do with you because dad's in a bad mood?
