It is pertinent to have a vision, to have the specifics. How do you realistically envision yourself in the future? What are the things you'd like to happen or have in your life, relationship, career or business?

Can you not get your children off of the electronic devices? Truth is, it's our fault! We should be leading our kids and get off of the internet ourselves. Let's take control and not be accused to be the lazy parent.

Leadership is a topic that is usually discussed in a business or work context, but today I want to talk to you about leadership within the family. Let me share my thoughts with you on how you can be a ‘Servant Leader’ in your family.
The word ‘Servant Leadership’ makes some of us uncomfortable because it sounds like we are being asked to act as a doormat for other people or as if we are being asked to play the role of ‘the nice guy’, who is weak and taken advantage of by everyone.
But that is far from the truth. Servant leadership is about being a real man. It is one of the most powerful forms of leadership where you serve your family with unconditional love, going the last mile for your wife, exercising authority with compassion, putting your family’s needs ahead of yours, taking leadership decisions without thinking about your own agenda, doing the right things that need to be done and leading your family to a good place.

I want to tell you a quick story. Hopefully, this won't take too long and maybe you'll find it interesting.
I titled this “Do You Enjoy Your Occupation?” Let me tell you why. I say that I've been so encouraged and blessed over the years to have jobs that I've enjoyed and when I didn't enjoy them I sold the business and I did something else. I just think life is too short to be out there doing things that we don't really enjoy.
It's been six years since my first podcast interview with the none other than John Lee Dumas of Entrepreneurs on Fire! April 10, 2020 my fifth interview with him has been released! We hope you enjoy the podcast. All the highlights, resources, and next steps can be found below. Listen to the full episode HERE and learn more at viewfromthetop.com.
Aaron starts by talking about how a guy named Cody Foster recommended Greg’s book to him. He mentions how he and his wife had a disagreement 2 days before he received Greg’s book in the mail. Aaron took the book to his backyard and started reading. He was shocked to find the very first chapter addressed the exact same problem he was having with his wife. Aaron was impressed by the book and bought copies for everyone in the mastermind group, and they all enjoyed it.
“I’m reading the book, and I’ll be dad gummed if you’re not talking in the first chapter about the same problem my wife and I were discussing.” - Aaron Walker
Aaron asks Greg the reason that great men fall. It is not an overnight process, it takes a combination of a lot of things. Greg says it usually starts with the orientation of one’s ego. If your ego is pointing you in the wrong direction, it can cause problems in your life. You have to focus on the right things or your ego orientation will cause trouble. Greg says to work on bad habits and isolation. We make mistakes when we are in isolation. We are not designed to be alone all the time, we are designed to work together on things.
“The seed bed where fall starts and begins, is with an ego that has a wrong orientation.” - Greg Salcicolli
