Have you ever thought about how cool it is that we get a chance every single day to get up and make the most of it? I’m so excited that I get a chance today to make it all that it could be and I can't wait to see what's gonna materialize and unfold on this beautiful August morning.
Hey, what’s your contingency plan? Do you have one? It is important to have a contingency plan. Develop a plan that's gonna, you know, keep going on after after we check out of here. Some of you are like, “You know I'm not that big a deal. I don't have that that big a business and I don't have that many people.” But you got a family that's counting on you. So think through those thing. Regardless if you're a solopreneur. What's your plan? How are you going to take care of your family? If you're a large organization your responsibility obviously is greater and so you've got to have something laid out.

I always say this. Isolation is the enemy of excellence.
Never say that you are done! As long as you are breathing, you are not yet done! If you are dead, that’s the time you are done! If you are hearing me, you have the ability to get up and march forward…..you are never done! Get into an accountability group! Get into a mastermind group! All you need to have is a group of people who will lift you up. People who can help you and give you sound advice. You cannot recluse. You cannot pullback and solve the problem on your own. The people who get in trouble the fastest are the people who are isolated. The people who recover and bounce back the fastest are the people who seek help.

You just don’t wake up one day smarter than the day before. We don’t develop via osmosis. I was not a booker reader but got influenced or forced to read when I joined the Eagles Group. But now, I keep 3 to 6 books going at all times now! Guys, I’d like to encourage you to do the same. Be a book reader! Reason for which is that we become what we think about. Ad the only way for us to have greater thoughts is to educate ourselves. Reading books shifts our mindset. A paradigm shift occurs! Now, go ahead and grab a good book!

I just want you today to think through learn to ask better questions. We always want to be people of integrity it's always difficult sometimes especially when you're ox is in the ditch when you're the one that's gonna maybe suffer the consequences as a result of what you share and what you tell.
Let me just encourage you a little bit in your business. Be savvy and don't be just blind to the the things that matters at hand and I just want you to ask better questions - “Is there anything else that could impact my decision?” I want to encourage you as a dad, as a husband, as a small business owner, don't leave out important information that could radically impact the lives of other people. You might say, “Well they didn't ask that question and so I didn't tell. Well, I don't know how you feel about that but personally the way I feel about that is the lack of information, an important decision, is the same as telling a lie because it's going to radically impact the way I might vote or the way I might respond or behave to a particular circumstance or situation.

When I was 15 years old working at the local pawn shop this guy walked in the store one day and he pulled up in a brand new Cadillac and he was dressed to the nines. This guy had suit and tie, diamond rings, had a gold watch on. I mean this guy was absolutely decked out. I waited on him for a few minutes and then I finally just asked him because you know when you're young you don't have any diplomacy or tack. I went up to him and I said, “Hey, that's such a beautiful car you've got there! And all these diamond rings! How did you make so much money?” He started laughing and he said, “How old are you?” And I said. “Fifteen.” He said, “Let me ask you a question. If you have goals and dreams and you work really hard you can do the same thing.” I said “I know I'm probably not gonna ever have anything.” And he said, “Why not you?”
I want to ask you today, why not you?
