Have you ever had someone come up to you "listen I was told something and I am not really suppose to tell you, but you're my buddy and I know I can trust you so I am telling you..." How many times have you heard that? How many times have you done that? I challenge you. When someone starts with "hey, I am not suppose to tell you this..."" hold your hand up and say "stop, don't tell me. I don't want to be a part of you becoming a liar." I promise you, that person will respect you more! Be that man of integrity!

We have got to look outward to other people.
I want to share this story with you guys this morning. I hope it has an impact on you. I hope maybe that you'll consider doing something similar to this because it's virtually changed the way we view Christmas. This story changed our family changed the way we look at things. It changed the dynamic by which we approach Christmas and it's to look outward. It is to help other people.

Leadership is a topic that is usually discussed in a business or work context, but today I want to talk to you about leadership within the family. Let me share my thoughts with you on how you can be a ‘Servant Leader’ in your family.
The word ‘Servant Leadership’ makes some of us uncomfortable because it sounds like we are being asked to act as a doormat for other people or as if we are being asked to play the role of ‘the nice guy’, who is weak and taken advantage of by everyone.
But that is far from the truth. Servant leadership is about being a real man. It is one of the most powerful forms of leadership where you serve your family with unconditional love, going the last mile for your wife, exercising authority with compassion, putting your family’s needs ahead of yours, taking leadership decisions without thinking about your own agenda, doing the right things that need to be done and leading your family to a good place.
