I want to encourage you today to think about a few things, especially, if you're kind of in the limelight or if you're a thought leader or you're an author or you're a professional athlete. I want you to think about something - you are nobody without your super fans. Take a moment and show your appreciation for the people that are following you and listening to you, following your advice and idolizing you from the sides. Those people matter. Those people care and we need to show them we care.

This is something that I've been thinking about the past couple weeks. Not a lot over the past several months but a lot in the past few weeks.
I'm just like everyone else, you know. I want to lose a few pounds, I want to read a few more books, I want to make a little bit more money, we want to grow our business a little bit further.
But I started thinking about the bigger picture. I want to be an influencer I want to be a guy that makes a difference. But the thing that holds us back I think the most is that we're afraid of what other people will think. We're afraid of conflict. In anybody's life now I think that we should be diplomatic how we present things but I think that we need to take a position in whatever it is you stand for to be an influencer.
