Is ACCOUNTABILITY overrated? I don't think so! It is not! I've made some commitments early this year with guys I am in accountability group with. These guys check with me and ask the difficult questions every week if I am able to execute them and challenge me to go to the next level!

Grab the book Profit First: Transform Your Business from a Cash-Eating Monster to a Money-Making Machine by Mike Michalowicz. The thesis of the book is you need to pay yourself first - it is an accounting system that you go through to implement. It's kind of like a digital envelope system, kind of like what Dave Ramsey teaches in the envelope system but you do it digitally. This book radically changed my personal life. If I hadn't have done implemented the concept found in the book, I might not have been prepared financially to have the cash reserves that we've got in order to go through this trying season.
