The message is is that we've got to sacrifice things today for the greater good later.
Dads, listen up. If you're not taking the time that you need to to pour into your sons or your daughters, I want to encourage you today to take that time because later on when they're young men and young women they're gonna have this great aspiration to do good for themselves as well and then they're going to take the time to listen.

It is not clarity you are looking for. It is safety and security.
I think many of you today know exactly what you need to be doing but you're like, "If it was a sure thing, if I was going to make money, if I wasn't gonna put my family in jeopardy, if I wasn't gonna do any of those things without a doubt I would do that." Well, really, don't you think it's the safety and the security that you're searching for and not necessarily the clarity?
There is no assurance out there. There's no sure deals out there at all.

We need to be careful when we say someone is our friend rather than an acquaintance and the reason is because we want people to trust us long-term.
A friend to me is somebody that I've gone in the trenches with, that know my wife, that know my children, that know my grandchildren, people we've been on vacation with, people that we have multiple dinners, we go to movies, we get to know each other, people that borrow things from you and you borrow things from.

I created a document six years ago called “What do I want.” One of the things that I realized in dealing with clients each and every day is many of you don't know what you want and so I created an easy document that I'm going to give it to you. We've taken the price off. There's going to be no charge whatsoever. If you'll look below there's a link and you can go to - www.viewfromthetop.com/whatdoIwant
This helps you identify your goals and dreams. I mean, don't we all dream big? We have goals and we want to accomplish those things but sometimes we need a road map in order to get there.

Guys, if you got kids today or teenagers who have gone astray, I'd like to encourage you to do what my friend did. Constantly tell them how much you love them regardless what they have done. We do not need to give up easily as parents. We need to do every single thing that we could possibly do in our human ability in order to win that child back!
