--- title: Are Masterminds An Expense? description: Aaron Walker of View from the Top, Iron Sharpens Iron Mastermind, helping ordinary men to become extraordinary, talks about mastermind and mindset --- [sdd](http://www.viewfromthetop.com/) # Aaron Walker Live From The Greenway! ## [Are Masterminds An Expense?](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/are-masterminds-an-expense) Posted by [Aaron Walker](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/author/aaron-walker) on Nov 8, 2019 9:00:00 AM - [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) I text a buddy of mine this morning and I said, “Hey man, I want you in the mastermind one day.” And he said, “I just can't do it right now. I've got three kids driving, got one in college and I've got to keep my expenses low.” I said, “First of all masterminds are not an expense. They're an investment and I wonder what your income would be today if you surrounded yourself with a hundred and fifty entrepreneurs that are holding each other accountable offering resources, encouraging edifying and lifting each other up, giving you introductions to new relationships. I wonder then if it's an expense or an investment.” Why do you think the most wealthy people on earth are in masterminds? Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, you name it! Look at Andrew Carnegie, you know. Henry Ford, they were all in masterminds. you know why? Because they realized they couldn't do it alone. Life is about our mindset. Our success is about our mindset How is your mindset today? How are you looking at things? Listen I, totally refuse in life to have a half empty cup. I’m just not going to do it. Mindset is so important. I can't even begin to tell you how important it is. I want to encourage you today to think through the way you look at life and business. I want to encourage you today to have a different mindset. We can't do it alone. We were designed to be in community and that's where we thrive.   Topics: [Business](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/business), [Life Coaching](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/life-coaching), [Motivation](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/motivation), [Accountability](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/accountability), [Coaching](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/coaching), [Business Coaching](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/business-coaching), [Masterminds](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/masterminds), [Family](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/family), [Finances](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/finances), [Career](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/career), [Fun](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/fun), [Community](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/community), [Relationships](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/relationships), [Success](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/success), [Significance](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/significance), [Faith](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/faith), [Priorities](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/priorities), [Tips](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/tips), [Commitment](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/commitment), [Persistent](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/persistent), [Consistent](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/consistent), [Move Forward](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/move-forward), [Blueprint](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/blueprint), [Preparation](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/preparation), [Integrity](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/integrity), [Discipline](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/discipline), [Clarity](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/clarity), [Development](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/development), [Self Development](https://www.isibrotherhood.com/livefromthegreenway/topic/self-development) [![v](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/417143/b853a945-b1cb-4792-bf63-90672b81b100.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/417143/b853a945-b1cb-4792-bf63-90672b81b100) ## [![Profit First Mike Michalowicz Book of the Month ISI mastermind](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/417143/9417b644-9661-4b64-8697-335aa0092970.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/417143/9417b644-9661-4b64-8697-335aa0092970) [![Mastermind Blueprint How to Build a rich life](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/417143/4449ae7f-4889-4928-97ed-a09aebf88952.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/417143/4449ae7f-4889-4928-97ed-a09aebf88952) ### Subscribe to Email Updates [![25 questions every man should answer to go from success to significance](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/417143/4028023d-111b-4ac3-95f5-9ce51a8cb8d3.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/417143/4028023d-111b-4ac3-95f5-9ce51a8cb8d3) ### Recent Posts [![The Steps for Men to have a more productive day](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/417143/f3284309-9ae7-46b8-8071-015d3ea3775e.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/417143/f3284309-9ae7-46b8-8071-015d3ea3775e) . ### Posts by Topic -
