Chances are right now you are upset about something. It could be physically, emotionally, financially or relationally.
We are humans, everyone goes thru tough situations. But here’s an advice I can tell you. Do not be alone. Many of you are alone right now. Go out and tell what you are going thru to somebody. Someone you trust. It is tough to go thru difficult times alone. You will just make things much much bigger if you go thru it by yourself. But, if you have somebody who can help you, someone you can lay things out, truth to be known it is not near as bad as you are letting on like it could be.

We have got to be careful in investing all of our time, effort and energy to our clients and forget our responsibilities at home. I just want to let you know that a few decades ago, I almost made a huge mistake in just by trying to grow my business. Fortunately, I "woke up" and say...."Hey, I have got to pay attention to my family".
I'd like to encourage you today to focus on your employment, focus on your career/business - get those things done but do not neglect the people who love you, the people who really care about you. We do not want to let them down or disappoint them. Follow thru with your responsibility and accountability to them. Have those promises that you have said be fulfilled. Be a man of integrity. Do not let that confidence and trust of your family be tarnished.

I'd like to ask you this. Do you have that support to your children? Are you there for them unconditionally? Are you always there to walk them thru to finish their goals, to help them, to support them? Or are you putting unncessary pressure just for your children to perform?

I want to give you an assignment today, whether it's a family member or whether it's somebody at work, in your community at your church or wherever it's at. I want you to go up to them if you do believe in them that - don't go up blowing smoke I hate it when people blow smoke - if you really believe in that person, I want you to that person and say some encouragement. Tell him that you believe in his abilities and potential. Tell him that you have a confidence in him. You can also send him send them a note and say means “you're the best at this and I see this in you can”. You never know how it's radically going to change their life.
Whose life today can you change? I promise you if you do this you stand by and you watch the results.

Do you have that friend? Do you have somebody that will tell you the truth? Do you have somebody that cares about you enough to really sit down with you and be candid and open and honest?
One thing that I want to talk to you about this morning is having a close friend that will tell you the truth. A lot of people do not want to do that - being a close friend and just be honest with you. They don't want to go there because it gets messy sometimes.
A true friend does not come easy. It has a price and it may some times takes time and even years to develop such a relationship with somebody that can call you out.
However, be willing to subject yourself to the scrutiny of a few people that can really tell you the honest truth - not to call you out to be mean or detrimental do your success but to aid you in your success.
